Visit us and enjoy the unique view at Gammelmark Strand Camping! Beautifully situated on Vemmingbund Bay on the Broagerland peninsula near Sønderborg.
With the Gendarmsti hiking trail at your feet, Danish history all around and the sea view before your eyes, the campsite is perfect for any camper or hiker. In addition to camping, we offer B&B rooms, camping cabins and glamping.
Children and adults will find opportunities for both relaxation and activity here. In our many different areas, there is a large selection of different places, each with its own atmosphere. Here you will find pitches on panoramic terraces, sheltered pitches by the forest, pitches right by the water – and in any case just the right pitch for you. All pitches have a beautiful view, and over 80% have a sea view.

Motorhomes:
At Gammelmark Strand Camping we have plenty of options for motorhome travelers. Whether you are just stopping by for a short visit on your trip to Europe or you want to take several weeks to explore the Sønderjylland region – we have the right place for you!
Caravan:
Since 2023, two new Hobby caravans from our partner Wohnwagen Thode in Rendsburg (Schleswig-Holstein) can also be booked for a minimum of 2 nights.
The small Hobby offers space for 2 persons.
The big Hobby caravan has beside the parents bed also two great children’s beds.
Cabins:
Enjoy a vacation or a weekend by the sea. At Gammelmark Strand Camping we have 4 camping cabins close to the beach and right by the Gendarme path.
We have 4 camping cabins with space for 4 or 6 overnight guests.
Glamping:
At Gammelmark Strand Camping, you don’t even have to bring your own tent. Here you can rent big glamping-tents that we have already put up for you. The large villa tent is located directly opposite the main building, where you will find WC and bathroom, family rooms, kitchen and laundry room.
Bed & Breakfast
Gammelmark Strand Camping offers more than just the usual camping. There are also three double rooms available in our Bed & Breakfast department.
The rooms are located on the 1st floor of our main building, from where some of the rooms have a sea view towards Dybbøl Mølle and Sønderborg. There are 2 big rooms with 16m² of space and 1 room of 12m².
The rooms are particularly popular with hikers on the Gendarmsti. The hiking trail leads only 50 m past Gammelmark Strand Camping.
